Frequently Asked Questions
Why no Apple or Google commission?
Subscriptions are managed entirely on trouveris.com via Stripe. The iOS and Android apps are free to download with no in-app purchase prompts — upgrades happen on the website.
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes. Upgrades are immediate. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Your indexed photos and albums are not deleted when downgrading — you lose access beyond the new tier's limit until you upgrade again.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing on-device is removed. Your photos, embeddings, and albums stay on your device; Trouveris never had the files. Cancelling returns the app to Free tier limits only.
Is there a free trial for Pro or Pro+?
Yes — 14 days on Pro and Pro+, no credit card required. Cancel before day 14 and you are never charged.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days of any charge, no questions asked. Contact hello@trouveris.com.
What happens if I go offline?
Trouveris works offline-first. You have a 30-day grace period to verify subscription status with the server; after that, paid features may be limited until you reconnect.
